We are blessed with many wonderful walking trails near our home. Most of them we can get to simply by walking out our front door. A few are a couple of minutes drive away. The park where I saw this trio of sunset silhouettes is a few minutes away by car, but worth it.
Besides being our main recreational park and ball complex, this park has a ton of trails. My favorite and the one where I found the dried flowers, is a mowed path circling a wild meadow. You have to cross a little stream to get to it and the whole place is ringed by woods. I love treasures like this. Bits of nature and beauty tucked away. There are usually plenty of people walking the paved trails nearby, but when I slip into this meadow I almost always have it to myself. For just a little while, I can forget I am in the suburbs and I can revel in the beauty and solitude of the woods.
