As we started on our walk for A Pilgrim’s Draw today, it began to sprinkle. I wanted to turn around but R3, hardy soul that she is, insisted that we walk through the rain. The rain stopped in minutes and we had a lovely walk.
If we had been waking the Camino de Santiago for reals, we would have done the same thing. We would have unpacked our rain ponchos and slogged determinedly through the rain to our destination for the day.
We have to do the same thing in our daily faith walk. Sometimes it seems rainy and hopeless. We have to walk through the rain in faith, trusting there will be sunshine and blessings on the other side of our struggles.
Remember, faith works!
