Hi guys! I just wanted to let ya’ll know that there are two new FREE videos up over at the classroom.
I love my Midori Traveler’s Notebook and my Fauxdoris. It is so easy to make inserts for them out of paper that I am familiar with and like working on. The best part about using notebooks like these is that when an insert is finished I can pop it out and put in a new one— easy peasy!
The first new instructional over at the classroom shows you how to make your own Midori inspired journal cover, aka a Fauxdori. You can use leather, a vinyl place mat, laminated paper or fabric to make a notebook in whatever size works for you! Click the picture below to get started.
The second instructional demonstrates how to make inserts to fit into your new notebook. I also included PDFs showing how to measure and tear down a full 22″ x 30″ sheet of watercolor paper to make an insert that fits an original Midori Traveler’s size notebook and any Fauxdoris of the same size. Click on the photo below to get going.
Enjoy creating your custom notebooks!
Remember, faith works!
